If you’ve been following this blog, you know about our response to a cease and desist letter from iDownload (they believed our product was incorrectly classifying them as spyware).
In the interest of fairness, I thought I would post their response to our letter.

“We trust that you will conform you published materials, as we previously requested, once some of the industry leaders alalyze iSearch more thoroughly and release their classification of iSearch.”
We, as consumers of CounterSpy, trust that you will not “conform your published materials.” This is especially important since Lavasoft has recently demonstrated they can be bought by spyware vendors.
