Between 2005-2010, Sunbelt Software (now ThreatTrack Security) was on the vanguard of security blogging. The history of the antimalware and antispyware fights of the decade are well chronicled.
I’m Alex Eckelberry, Sunbelt’s former CEO and the primary blogger on this site. While I was at Sunbelt, I had a backup of the blog posts. Now, the original Sunbelt Blog is no longer available, and now this legacy blog has been reposted in the interests of documenting a key historical time in the development of modern security.
No attempt is being made here to provide this blog for any commercial or other purposes. The information on this blog is readily available on other sites, such as Archive.org, or stowed away in other cubbyholes on the Internet. It simply made sense to post them all in one place.
